This collection is completely underwhelming. Yes, it is what we expect of Oscar de la Renta, but after being wowed by Diane von Furstenberg whom manage to innovate and remain her true self at the same time, I expected more from him. The voluminous silhouettes and the floaty airy evening dresses are feminine and pretty - two words consistently used to describe de la Renta. They hint at an old school glamour that is the essence of de la Renta, but what else is there we haven't seen before?
