I can appreciate where he's coming from with the graphic geometric patterns, the bold primary colors red and blue with dashes of black and white, the zig zag renditions of abstract art are a witty bid to mix eclecticiscm with the Thirties. The skirts are short and silhouettes poufed up and out then tightly held in with banded hems. Small lacquered dome shaped hats donned the heads of the majority of models but there is a lack of sophistication and elegance. The collection oozes sex but not in the sultry way a real woman would want it. I miss their signature greys/sands and shimmery evening gowns.
