I can understand where he's coming from and what he's trying to do; the strong primary colors red and yellow with dashes of black and white, the graphic geometric patterns and zigzag renditions of abstract art are all attempts to meet eclectcism with the Thirties. The mood is playful but its certainly something unlike Armani has done before. The hemline was cut short and the proportions were voluminous and then tightly held in by banded hems. But I miss the greys, sands and the flowing metallic gowns that Armani does so well.
