Pockets have always been there, though we probably never thought about it. But this past New York fashion week, it seems pockets have taken a more prominent role in our garments. Deep pockets were seen everywhere from Vera Wang to J Mendel on day dresses, evening gowns, volume skirts. Not sure what purpose they serve anymore, especially with oversized bags, but they certainly make your cell phone easier to access!
