My skin has been really dry lately, especially my cuticles, and I have tried just about every “Moisturizing” product on the planet, (Yes, I exaggerate) but nothing seemed to work. So I decided to look to the “professionals” and to my utter disappointment, I spent a good chunk-o-change on an uber-expensive manicure and let’s just say I’m not going to be doing any hand modeling any time soon.I turned to the fabulous and infamous Jaqua for help. If you have never used Jaqua before, I would start now because not only are their products superior, their packaging is breathtaking. Not only can their delicious products be found on many celebrities, but on the glossy pages of my favorite magazines as well.
As I am a fan of Mint Chip ice-cream, I chose Jaqua’s Sinfully Rich Cocoa Body Butter in Mint Chocolate. When I received my box in the mail, I ripped it open to find the most adorable chocolate brown and mint green bakery box topped with an adorable chocolate bow beckoning me to open and smell the 6 ounces of perfection inside!
When I unscrewed the top, I was pleasantly surprised, wait, scratch that, BLOWN AWAY by the scent; (Ladies, I think I just gained about 5 pounds!) I dipped my fingers in and took a nice sized-scoop and rolled it around my hands and I have found my new favorite moisturizer for sure! The texture is fabulous; it’s rich and creamy, not too thick and not gritty whatsoever, my hands soaked up the cocoa butter right away and my cuticles look fantastic. The butter leaves a nice glossy sheen layer on the skin and I should be getting hand shots done because my hands look (and smell) good enough to eat!
