One of Fall's biggest revival's that I'm just not crazy about is the loafer shoe. To me, it's one part boat shoe meets frumpy English professor chic. I'm just not sure that I understand all the fuss about the mocassins (equally blah), tassles and all around boring style. At least kids in the 50's made loafers cool by sticking pennies in the keeper.
If you are going to brave the loafer look, may we suggest:

With this style, you still get the "loafer" look, but with a little more feminine twist and styling like a true dress flat. What do you think...are loafers awesome, or just plain dowdy?
