Fashion Designer Tip of the Day, Quilts, Couture in the City Fashion Blog

One of the trendiest textures this season is the padded quilted look. It was popular this summer in the form of the Marc Jacobs Stam but I think the look is more suited to fall/winter. Which is why I'm loving the many quilted accessories and garments that are coming out right now. My favourite being the Burberry Prorsum trench which also comes in gold and which I tried on the store. Unfortunately, it was a bit overwhelming on me - but it certianly kept me warm. It's a fabulous coat but I think the texture works best in small doses which is why the leather gloves and quilted flat shoes are must-haves this upcoming winter.
