Memoirs Of A Geisha Top…

Just yesterday a NY pal said that everyone up town is wearing grey, red and white together. Today I found that curious color combination in Elaine Perlov’s fashion forward and faboo “Geisha” top.

This top is striking not only because of the fabulous feminine pattern, but because of the plunging neckline, popping red accents, and stretchy grey trim.

Besides the colors and style, I love the Geisha top because the pretty patterned empire waist line is raised above the natural waistline and cuts below the bust. The solid grey bottom is extremely slimming; making this style perfect for any figure. It enhances the petit frame, creates the illusion of length and camouflages a bottom-heavy figure or thick waist.

Daily Candy says Geisha-inspired pieces are HOT for 2006! And Style Bakery touts this top as a must-have for Spring! Lightweight grey stretch mesh frames the geisha print that is decorated with delicate grey and red Japanese motifs.

Sign me up for this number, I Think I’m turning Japanese!

PS. Pair this top with Perlov’s Red Coral & Tiger Ebony “Lasso Necklace,” you’ll feel pretty!
